Good morning, Friends!

I hope you all are having a quiet morning!   I know some are sending kids back to school today.   My boys don’t start again until Monday the 11th.

Today I am hosting the Wednesday Trends over at There She Goes.   Our trend for the week is altered designer paper.   My first sample today is an example of altered designer paper.

In this closeup, you can see that I have run my designer paper through the cuttlebug.   Please note:   the bad cutting job on the sock was due to me getting sick while working on this! LOL   But, I had to put a sock hanging out of the dryer as that is typical at my house.   I won’t blow smoke and say my laundry is always folded and put away as soon as the buzzer goes off.   The truth is, sometimes the dryer gets “fluffed” one or two times before the clothes are pulled out.   Now, I have not done my boys laundry in years, so I have no clue if they fold it right away or not, as I am afraid to go in their rooms!    There, I said it.

Now for my challenge card.   This week, I threw down the challenge on the There She Goes blog for shaped cards.    I found this cool hand shape on a website and just had to do that.    I found the black lace material on clearance at Joann’s ($.63 for a 3′ x 1′ piece!).   I made the ring from a circle punch coated in gold embossing and then rhinestones arranged on top.
