Good morning, Friends!

You know the old saying “When it rains, it pours”?   Well, in the course of one month, THREE of my friends have had babies!   I, personally, am glad it’s not ME!! LOL    But with that said, it is awesome to have these new little beings around.   I love the smell of babies!! 🙂

So today is kind of an exciting time for me.   A couple weeks back, Lynn Mercurio (Lynn in St. Louis on SCS) contacted me about taking the reingns as the new hostess of the weekly Technique Lover’s Challenge.   Exciting!!!   While I have some pretty big shoes to fill, I am looking forward to bringing some fun stuff to the challenge.

Today’s challenge (TLC) is the Van Gogh technique.   I have to admit, it looked easier than it really was.   I tinkered with this card for quite some time before I was happy.

The baby dragon and middle cloud are on dimensionals.   I did the ”van gogh” technique in different areas on the card and background.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:   Artful Inkables Darling Dragons and Artful Inkables Basic Sentiments

Colors: Pretty In Pink, GP White, Pink Pirouette, Paper Studio dp

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics

Accessories: ribbon, 1/2 pearls, nesties, slot punch, dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by!   I hope you’ll drop by the SCS challenge forums on Monday mornings to play along with my challenge!   Blessings!!

Very fun card Holly! I’ve just recently became interested in using different techniques so I’ll have to check this out for some inspiration!

Congrats on being the new WT hostess, Holly 😀 How fun! Love your pink dragon. I agree re: good that I’m not having the kids. I was old enough as it was when I had my two and the sleep deprivation just about did me in LOL! Trusting you had a fabulous Christmas (((hugs)))
