~ Pretty Packaging ~

Good morning, Friends 🙂

Two posts in one day?~  I know.. I should have other things to do, but honestly, I am pretty much done!   I have four presents to wrap and one last minute card to make, then it’s party time!

I wanted to share a couple things with you that I have done over the last week but haven’t had time to blog.   First, I found this awesome recipe on Deb Felt’s blog (With A Stamp and a Song) ~ Peanut Butter Fudge Rounds!   My boys and I made these a few days ago and if I hadn’t set aside what I needed for these little gift boxes, they would all be gone!

Now, I had to alter the recipe slightly… it may be due to our high altitude.   When I was melting the chocolate, we added about 1/4 cup of milk and it worked perfectly.

I used the shipping tag box directions from the TLC a few weeks ago.   You can find it HERE.

The sentiments were computer generated and printed on very vanilla cardstock.

Here are the deets for these:

Stamps: (snowflake) from There She Goes’ Stick Together set

Colors: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Kay and Co. dp

Ink: Tim Holtz’ Antique Photo

Accessories: ribbon, embroidery thread, circle punches, oval punches, sticky tape, scoring blade, hole punches, dimensionals, corner rounder punch, wax paper, cellophane.

Now here is another project that I had posted to Splitcoaststampers a few days back.   I have received a ton of requests for the instructions, but didn’t want to post it as the recipients might see them, but I think I am safe now 😉

These monogrammed gift box/drawer sets were sooooooooo easy to make!   The cards are very simple and nearly flat!   I fit six cards and decorated envelopes in each drawer and there is still room for a nice pen and some postage, too!

 monogram-gift-set-laura.jpg

I have the instructions in a word doc, so if you want them sent to you, just leave your e-mail address in the comments section and I will get them sent to you, asap!

ETA (7/7/10):  The overwhelming response that I received on this project was amazing.   So much, that Splitcoaststamper.com invited me to create a tutorial for their site.   You can find the tutorial HERE.

I apologize for not e-mailing instructions for the last few months, but the original tutorial document that was written became corrupted by a computer issue and I was not able to recreate it.

Thanks!!!

Ink: Pacific Point and Versafine Black Onyx

Accessories: Ribbons, Oval punches, scoring blade, sticky tape, dimensionals, prima, circle punch, bling brads, black brads
