~ Don’t Be Elfish! ~

Good morning, Friends!

Well, we have eight days to finish up the Christmas shopping/crafting.    Personally, I would like to be done NOW, but I still have a few small things to do.   My New Year resolution is going to be to start these things earlier next year!  (She said!).

Today I decided to get smart and combine projects.   This week, There She Goes is hosting the Color Throwdown.   The colors are:  Always Artichoke, Cool Caribbean, Real Red and Kiwi Kiss.   I also needed a gift card holder and Christmas card for my oldest son, so I combined the two and came up with this:

Now, I wish I could take credit for the adorable elf, but in truth, I cased it from MkMiracleMakers on SCS.   I put mine on the front of a card (using yesterday’s sketch challenge again!).   The face was made with the label 8 nesties.  I used a slightly larger label 8 to create the hat.   The nose is 1/2 of a tab punch.  The ears are the medium oval punch with a little bit of one end snipped off to make it pointy :).   The eyes are just several different sized circle punches and hole punches.

Here are my deets:

Ink: Real Red, Blush Blossom, Versamark, copics, black fine tip sharpie

Accessories: bling brad, circle punches, hole punches, oval punch, round tab punch, label 8 nesties, dimensionals, sticky tape, snowdots embossing folder, sponge

Thanks for stopping by!   I hope you have a blessed day.   Back to work for me!!

Hugs!
