G’day, Friends!

How is it that the time goes fastest between Thanksgiving and Christmas?   I am certain that Thanksgiving was YESTERDAY and now tomorrow is December 1st!   I need time to sloooooooooow down.

We’ve made the decision to go without a tree this year.   With hubby being laid off, it seems for an extended time, we are scrimping and saving to make ends meet.   I asked my youngest son what he thought of not having a tree and his response to me was, “A Christmas tree is not what Christmas is about, mom”.   That made me very proud.   We will get creative and celebrate in other ways.

Today I bring you a sample from Artful Inkables’ new Monster Medical set.   I can think of a dozen people to send this too, as it seems everyone is sick right now!

I cut out the tissue portion of the tissue box and replaced it with real tissue.   I also added glossy glaze to the thermometer, but it wasn’t dry yet when I took the picture :).

Here are my deets:

Stamps: Artful Inkables‘ Monster Medical

Colors: GP White, Kiwi Kiss, Abbey Road dps

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics, white gel pen, red sharpie (for germies!)

Accessories: Ribbon, dimensionals, tissue

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a blessed day~

Your son’s comment is a tribute to what you as parents have taught him – blessings to you!!! It warms my heart beyond words. I pray you will have one of the most special Christmases ever.

Cute card too. Love the tissue in the Kleenex box! Hopefully we are done with H1N1 around here. Six of the seven kids I watch after school have had it (my two included) so hopefully we are good to go for the rest of the year.

Have a great day, Holly (((hugs)))

This is just the cutest set! I giggle everytime I see it! Love the addition of the real tissue! Too bad it’s too small to use for real!

What a fun and cute card!!

Holly, your card arrived to me today and it is such a fabulous black and white card!! I really love the look of black and white together but hardly ever make them myself.

Your little boy sounds very wise…..you have taught him the true meaning of Christmas.
