~ Friend To Friend ~
July 28th, 2009 by Holly McMillen
Good day, friends!
It has been a couple days since I updated. We have had a great time so far with my brother and nephew. My boys are really love getting to know their cousin.
I am going to pick up my IN COLORS this morning!! I am excited to see them in person. I thought, perhaps, that today’s Color Challenge would include the new colors, but nope! Today’s colors are Certainly Celery, Pixie Pink and Apricot Appeal. I knew it would be quite a challenge as I have no PP or AA cardstock, so I had to use the inks. This is what I came up with….
for the sun, I punched a circle in a scrap piece of paper and sponged it in. I freehand cut the rolling hills. It is kinda plain for me, but I really like it 🙂
Here are my deets:
Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes by Stampin Up!
Colors: GP White, Basic Black, Certainly Celery, PTI Razzberry Fizz
Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery
Accessories: black 1/2 pearls, ribbon, circle punch, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have an abundantly blessed day!

Oh Holly!! You did such a wonderful job with these colors…especially since you did not have two of the card stock colors…you go girl!!
Well done and very creative in how you used the inks for the colours 😀
I love it Holly. This sort of card has become my favourite, I think its simplicity speaks volumes 🙂
