~ A Little Nostalgia~

Happy Friday, Friends!
I have alot going on today, so I will likely make at least two posts. I have some really exciting news coming later on, so be sure to check back!
Today’s Limited Supply Challenge was to use either our wedding colors or high school colors. Now, I was married in the early 80s…, so you can bet the colors in my wedding were pretty putrid. The bridesmaids wore mauve (yuk!) and the groomsmen wore burgandy. Both DH and I wore white. I just couldn’t wrap my head around using those colors this morning, so I went with my high school alma mater… The Blue and Gold of Oak Grove High School (San Jose, California)… Go EAGLES!!
Didn’t feel like making a card this morning, as you can see. I made a little bag instead. I have included basic instructions, but if you have any further questions, please do not hestiate to ask!
The box is made from a piece of 4 1/2 x 10″ cardstock scored cut as shown below.
Score at 1/2″ and 1″ on both the short sides… then at 4 1/2 inches from each end on the long sides. *note ~ I find it easiest to score at one inch first, then score down the middle of that.
It is important that you punch out your handle holes PRIOR to assembling your box as you will not be able to after you have contructed it.. it’s too thick!
The flap on top is two layers. The first layer is 2 1/2 x 3 inches. The dp layer is 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.
Here are the deets:
Stamps: Stampin’ Up’s Great Friend
Colors: Night of Navy, Marigold Morning, GP White, SU dps
Ink: Marigold Morning, Brilliance White
Accessories: ribbon, clip, word window punch, designer label punch, circle punch, swirl punch, dimensionals, velcro closure, sticky tape, scoring blade, scissors

I love the little box you have shared. I’m looking for something just like this for Easter treats. This looks perfect and easy enough to make a few. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
