~ Buggy For You ~
July 2nd, 2009 by Holly McMillen
Happy Thursday!
My oh My! Is it just me or is this week FLYING by?!
I’ll get right to it. A few days ago, MakiJ (of SCS) posted this incredible little buggy card. You can see it HERE. I knew I was going to have to case that little beauty, and was just waiting for the opportunity to do so.
Well, much to my delight, today’s Ways To Use It challenge called for using corregated cardboard. Perfect! So here is my case of Maki’s gorgeous creation.
I made alot of changes, but you can see where I drew my inspiration. I cut a circle template and traced it onto the cardboard and cut it out. I scored it in quarters and cut one corner out for the shape.
Here are my deets:
Stamps: Artful Inkables‘ Fictionally inspired (swirl/flourish); Artful Inkables‘ Basic Sentiments
Colors: Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, GP White
Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Regal Rose
Accessories: brads, rickrack, SU eyelet border punch, paper shapers flourish punch, circle punches, cardboard, sticky tape, dimensionals, xacto knife, word window punch, embroidery floss, hole punch, pink 1/2 pearls
