~ Limited Mojo ~

Good morning!

I have been absent from the stamping world for a few days.    My body has taken a beating from this rhinovirus that settled in and it has sapped up all my energy.   I do feel quite a bit better this morning, but along with my energy, my mojo was zapped, too.

I was determined to get back in the studio this morning and for some crazy reason, decided the Limited Supply Challenge would be my jumping off point.   Limited is never a good place for me to start! LOL   I struggled tremendously just to come up with an idea, and when it came to me what I wanted to do, it went oh so wrong.   Not that I am completely hating what the result was, it just felt out of my control zone.

Today’s LSC was to make a beachy scene.   In the spirit of ‘limited’, I decided on keeping the layers waaaaaay limited.   We were only allowed one embellishment as well, which threw me off, as I have always worked with the rule of three (three of everything for balance).   So here is what my result was:

I am loving the colors, just not sure the ‘layout’ is right.   We’ll see, maybe it will grow on me 😉

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  Our Craft Lounge‘s Coastal Wishes

Colors: Brilliant Blue, Summer Sun, GP White

Ink:  Versafine black onyx, copics, white gel pen

Accessories: ribbon, label 1 nesties, white watercolor pencil, paper piercing tool, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by.   I am going to get back on that horse and do some more stamping today… I WILL find my mojo!!

Have a blessed day!

I think you’ve done a fine job on this, Holly. Love how you have made the sunset part the focus and placed the other images on the main panel. Nice netting in the upper corner too.

Hope you are back in full swing soon. I’ve been on puke patrol for a day with two sick kids and I’ve got a nasty cold so I empathize with you 🙂

    Have a great day.
