~ A-Z & 123s ~
April 27th, 2009 by Holly McMillen
Well, it is day two of the three day Trendsetter blog hop. If you came to me from Faith’s blog, you are right on track. If not, you will want to start back at Jessica’s blog so you don’t miss a thing!
When today’s set arrived, I have to admit, I was a little thrown off. But then I looked it over real good and WOW, there are over 70 pieces to this new A-Z & 123s set! The font is just the right size for cards, too. Both upper and lower case letters are included, as well as a bevy of other little characters. How fun!
My first instinct was to make this birthday card for my son’s girlfriend’s little boy. He is going to turn 3 soon and a fun bright card is just what he needs.
Here are my deets:
Stamps: There She Goes’ A-Z and 123s and You’re So Punny
Colors: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Only Orange, Bashful Blue, GP White
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics, Only Orange, Pacific Point, white gel pen
Accessories: orange candy dots, ribbon, MS border punch, circle punch, oval punch, word window punch, Nesties label 1 dies, scissors, dimensionals

Then I got to thinking…. this set can be used for many things! Back in March, I attended a stamp camp where we made these little SPRING whatchamacallits (not even sure what to name this little guy). Well, I decided to scale it down and make one with my name that I can sit on my desk.
I started with a piece of black cardstock measuring 2″ by 10″ (since HOLLY has 5 letters, that is five 2″ squares once scored). I scored that piece every 2″. Each little 2″ square was decorated with fun colors and a small embellishment.
Here are my deets:
Stamps: There She Goes’ A-Z and 123s
Colors: Basic Black, So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, GP White, Walk in the Park dps
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black
Accessories: 1″ circle punch, dimensionals, MS butterfly punch, star punch, MS branch punch, button, floss, prima, brad
