Hi Again, girls!

I think I told you all it is going to be one crazy busy week!    Well, here I am starting it off with a bang.   Today I am going to give you a little sneaky peek of what’s coming from Our Craft Lounge.   The new sets are due to release later this week, so keep your eyes peeled as I will have a sneak peek every day until the release!

When I got a look at the new images coming, I got all excited once again.   So much fun and some really heartwarming images, too!

I combined two sets…. Oceans of Fun and Bubbles Happen to make this little shadow box.   Now I know you are going to want to know how I did this, so I am going to give you a quick synopsis and then I will do a tutorial on it next week.  

Ok, so basically it comes down to this….. I took a piece of heavy cardboard (the backing from a pad of paper is perfect) and cut it into a 4″ square.   Then I cut another piece to 2 1/2″ square and placed it on top of the 4″ square (center it) and traced around it.   Then I cut that 2 1/2″ square out with an Xacto knife.   I covered the ”frame” I had made by using sticky tape to adhere it to my designer paper.   I cut and X in the middle of the frames center and folded the pieces around to the back (this needs a visual, but if you have ever wrapped a frame, you will know what I am talking about).    Then I cut a piece of coordinating cardstock to 4″ square.   I scored all sides at 1/2″ and 1 1/2″ ~ Now you will have to see the attached to see what I cut out ~  The grayed areas are cut out and the broken lines are cut.   Form your piece into a box  and use the tabs left over to attach to the back of your frame.
