Greetings, ya’ll!

Well, it was another fitful night of sleep for me, but that’s ok, as I got some stamping done.   I do have to say that the frequency of SCS being ‘down’ lately is starting to wear on my nerves.    It is no wonder the number of people frequenting the site has decreases so dramatically.    I think Namedia needs to pay heed to the numbers and put some effort into keeping the site online.   Just my opinion!

I was able to get online briefly around 1am to check the Color Challenge.   Boy was it ever a challenge, too.    Not that the colors were bad, but I had the tiniest pieces of Close to Cocoa and ONE sheet of So Saffron.   My paper supply is dwindling badly, but with Don out of work, it isn’t going to get better anytime soon.    So, be forewarned, you are going to see some odd color combos from me for awhile! LOL

I chose Cuddle Up Carter  from My Favorite Things as my set this morning.  Cuddle up Carter is a set with a mission.   Patterned after our own Carole Burage’s son Carter, who is a very special young man, this set is a charity set, with $2 from each set sold over the next six months going to benefit kids with Cerebal Palsy via the non-profit Euro-Peds clinic (www.europeds.org) in Pontiac, Michigan!

Since I was working with limited colors, I decided to use this really funky layout I designed.   I kinda like it as it is unusual, but it left me scrambling as to where to put little Carter!    All in all, I am pleased with how it turned out.
