~ MFT is Hopping along… singing a song… side by side~
March 4th, 2009 by Holly McMillen
Good evening!
Aren’t you glad my blog has no sound? It would be horrible if you heard me singing as I type.. lol. It is no secret that I cannot sing to save my soul. Not saying that I don’t sing, because I do! I sing loud and often, just terribly 🙂
Today we are hopping along to show you the newest releases from My Favorite Things. If you came to me from Frances’ blog (StampOwl), you are on the right track! If not, you may wish to start at the beginning which is Kim’s blog.
I have a couple peeks to share with you..
First, the new Hooga Booga set is totally darling. Monsters, Inc. is one of my all time favorite movies and BOO is my favorite character. Her little voice just makes me smile and when she cries, I cry too. Well, you won’t be crying at these darling little images!
I took a piece of My Favorite Things’ Summer Collection dp as my inspiration for color. I pieced the little monster suit and added a little scene around her. Isn’t she darling?!
Here are the deets:
Stamps: My Favorite Things’ Hooga Booga
Colors: Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, GP White, MFT’s Summer Collection dp
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics
Accessories: yummy yellow 1/2 pearls, ribbon (can you believe I found a piece that perfectly matched?!), dimensionals, xacto knife, scissors.

For my second peek, I used My Favorite Things’ Night Night Ellie. Now this little darling has been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks and I could NOT wait to get her inky. She is ready for bedtime and all she needs is someone to tell her a story.
I used some fun colors and a pop of black to make this little cutie stand out. She lost her teddy bear, though 🙁 Will you help her find it?
Here are the deets: My Favorite Things’ Night Night Ellie
Colors: Only Orange, Pink Passion, GP White, Basic Black
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics, white gel pen (for accents)
Accessories: brads, ribbon, swiss dots border EF, flowers and circles EF, rectangle scalloped nesties, dimensionals, scissors
