~ Artfully Yours ~

Hi Again!!

I am so excited to bring you brand spankin’ new stamps from Artful INKables!    I really love the deeply etched rubber of this cling stamps.   The images are so fun to work with!   The INK girls are hopping along today showing off their stuff…. you should have come to me from Elena’s blog… but if not, you may want to start at the beginning which is Kristen’s blog.

I fell in love with this new Think Big set from AI.   This little girl reminds me of myself when I was younger… always engrossed in a book.    I loved reading the classics, too.    I spent an entire summer during my 7th/8th grades reading Ana Karena and The Call of the Wild.  I remember it as if it were yesterday.

Somewhere buried in my cedar chest are these little 3″ classic books, such as King Lear, A Mid Summer Night’s Dream, etc.   They are red leather bound and I am hoping someday to pass them down to my grandchildren.   Those books inspired this project.

Here are some deets:

Inspire box:   Artful Inkables‘ Think Big

The box is simply a 7″ square piece of paper scored at 2″ on all sides.  The box was formed and a ‘brace’ attached to the back to hold up the image.

Colors:  Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss, Real Red, GP White

Ink: Brilliance Graphite, copics

Accessories: dimensionals, sticky tape, Oval nesties

Stamps:  Artful Inkables’ Think Big

Accessories: tiny black rhinestones, velvet ribbon, dimensionals, oval nesties, houndstooth EF, scissors

Thanks for stopping by!   Now hop on over to Joanne’s blog and see what good stuff she has in store!

What a fun idea to make a book box set 🙂 Great card and project. Missed yesterday (hanging my head in shame…lol ) and loved all your creations. Got a good smile from the sentiment “get them squished” and the “it’s an out of the carton type of day”. Well done!
