CC200 ~ My Favorite Spot ~
January 6th, 2009 by Holly McMillen
It’s a Hambo kinda day. I slept like a rock last night…. didn’t wake up until the alarm went off at 5:30am! Mark your calendars, notify the press… whatever it takes, let’s celebrate! LOL
When I saw this morning’s color combination (Brilliant Blue, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie), I kinda cringed. Now, I love all these colors separately, but putting them together on one card and making it look right was a huge challenge for me! I kept changing around the order to get the best look and it was just not working for me. Then I had to choose an image that would work with it. *Sigh*… I knew I wanted to use my Hambos this morning, but was not sure I could get one that would do these colors justice. So, I settled on the new giraffe image. Now, normally a giraffe would be yellow, but my giraffe has been eating too many leafy greens and some carrots, evidently cuz he turned a bit orange! Hey, it works in my world! LOL
If you haven’t checked out the new Hambo images yet, I suggest you do! They are the cutest!!! Just click on the link below:
