some-bunny.jpg   Gooooood Morning!

I did it again!!   My 2nd night of sleeping more than 7 hours straight  without interruption.   I didn’t even have to get up to pee! LOL   I’m tellin’ ya, it feels sooooooo good.   I am thanking God right now.

Today’s Color Challenge was a toughie… (Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Sahara Sand).   I have never owned Sahara Sand.   It was suggested that we could use Kraft in it’s place.  Guess what?   No Kraft either!   So I really had to get crafty.   I took the back off one of my paper stacks and used that……voila! Kraft!   It works 🙂

I received a little care package from Kim at My Favorite Things, yesterday.   I could not wait to ink up these adorable babies.   I e-mailed back and forth with her and got her permission to “Sneak Peek”  this set, as I am not officially on the team.   This new set, Snow Bunny, is being released  tomorrow night!   It is sooooooo cute!!

I have some news I would like to share with you.   Yesterday, I received a call from my dermatologist.   The spot they removed from my arm has ‘irregular’ cells….. pre-cancerous.   Looks like we caught it just in time.   I go back today to have the spot scraped to the bone.   It is going to be painful for awhile, but I will NOT give up my craft.   I will be on pain medication until it heals, which we are talking about weeks, not months or anything.    If it gets too bad, I will enlist my aunt Marci to stamp images for me so I can color and put stuff together.  No worries, but I thought ya’ll would like to know..

Ok….deets on the card:

Stamps:   My Favorite Things’ Snow Bunny

Colors:  Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Kraft, Scenic Route DP

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics

Accessories: snowflake brads, MS branch punch, scalloped oval punches, scissors, ticket corner punch, snowdots EF, velvet black ribbon, dimensionals

sea-you-soon-retake.jpg   Another MFTeaser for you 🙂

I tell you, the new My Favorite Things sets coming out tomorrow are way too cute for words!   This one, called Isabelle’s Paper dolls, is packed with fun images that work like paperdolls.   I don’t know about you, but I loved playing with paperdolls when I was a little girl, and evidently, I still do!

I stamped the images, colored them with copics, then pieced them together.   Her tailfin and top are covered in stickles to make them shine…. and I even gave her a little pearl belly button :).   Isn’t she adorable?!

I am sending this off to my cousin who just left after the holiday.   Her hubby assured me he would bring her back this summer for a longer, less stressful, visit.   So, this is for you, Monica!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  My Favorite Things’ Isabelle’s Paper Dolls, sentiment is handwritten

Colors: Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, Bashful Blue, GP White, Debbie Mumm DP

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics

Accessories: white brads, white satin ribbon, 1/2 pearls, swirls and bubbles EFs, square scalloped punch, circle punch, small oval punch, scissors, stickles, dimensionals.

TFL and have a blessed day!

Way to be creative with the paper bag 🙂 The perfect colour and it looks great here. Fun card too.

Glad they caught the spot before it got any larger or more serious. Always a good thing and easier to deal with. Trusting it will heal quickly and in the meantime, glad Marci can be recruited to assist you — but beware, she may get on a roll based on the family creative gene you all have and start posting herself LOL 🙂

Eek about your arm, so glad you had this taken care of when you did!! I just had to comment about your sleeping ~~ I just assumed from reading your posts that you were the type who didn’t need much sleep. How wonderful that you were able to get more than 4 hours, lol!! I think I have apnea ~ I’m going in for a sleep study. I never ever sleep through the night, & even when I *think* I slept well (meaning getting up just once or twice) I’m still so tired. I’m not that old, lol!!! Hope your good nights continue!
