~Sympathetic Heart~

sympathetic-heart.jpg  Uhhhh, anyone notice I didn’t post my sketch yesterday? LOL…. probably not!  Well, I apologize profusely, but it was a little more of a day than I expected.   This is the sketch :

thsc1.JPG  We’ll call it THSC1 (Toy’s Haven Sketch Challenge 1).  Play along if you like!

I used today’s Inspiration Challenge on SCS as a springboard for this sympathy card.  The image was stamped then colored with copics.  The two larger flowers are popped on small dimensionals.

Feeling MUCH better, by the way.  I’m sure that little bug was having no fun with me as I was trying to sweat him out!  I spent the last few days in my studio organizing my stamps according to maker and year issued (for SU!).   Now, to finish the rest of the room…..do you have as much ribbon as I do????   Where did it all come from!?

K.. if you do the sketch and don’t post to SCS, please link me to a pic I can view.. I’d love to see!

Stamps:  Oh So Lovely and Small Sayings (both SU!)

Colors: basic black, certainly celery, blush blossom, GP white and Designer series PP (CC).

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics

Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, square scallop punch, slit punch, gel pen, paper piercing tools

TFL!~

Holly, you are a lifesaver! I just remembered DD needs 2 birthday cards for tomorrow. I am going to copy your layout! Thanks!

I was stalking your site yesterday several times and missed not getting it – not that I could have created anything as my DH has me working for him again so my stamping time gets cut to almost nil with all the other family commitments etc — long way to say I noticed and missed the sketch 🙂

Anyway, I just love it and hope to play along. Love the card you made – already commented on SCS. I need a sympathy card as well – friends mom died today so this may be the sketch to use.

Glad you have your stamps sorted….can just imagine how many you have you lucky lady you (wiping drool off my face as I say that!). I too have a lot of ribbon – easiest accessory with lots of punch and one does need multiple colours and designs just in case you need it for a specific card, right LOFL 🙂

I love the sketch and am going to play today!

Ribbon? Hmmm……I have 3 drawers full — some all loose and meshed together and another one in rolls and another one a mixture….I love ribbon……lol

Holly what a beautiful card. I did make two for your sketch. I wasn’t too happy with the first one but now I like it. Here they are:
